The features required for Bonsai work are in fact quite demanding, and of my three Garden Software products, only my top of the range product (Ideas Genie Pro) offers the required
features, hence it was adopted for the application.
This offers advanced features as standard - Tasks (plan what you have to do), Events (record what youve done), Configurable Plant Care (you know all about
the unique tasks involved in Bonsai Work) and the most fully featured software for record keeping you are likely to find on the planet (read the Bonsai Genie Description)
The PRO version
Quarter 1 - 2009
I’m working with a number of Bonsai experts to train them how to use all the fantastic features of Bonsai Genie,
as it stands now, so they fully understand what features are there at present.
You can follow the same training sessions by doing the exercises in the User Guide and if you work your way through to the Advanced section you will have a professional database of your plants, with photos, and have the ability to create web projects like Mike - Read More.
I will develop the software to include additional features which they specify.
We will end up with an advanced (to most users) system.
It will be a very powerful tool.
A Basic Version
Once thats done, we will decide whats required for the average Bonsai enthusiast, and whats not.
I will create a new and simplified edition, for general use, by slimming down the PRO version.
Thus, as in the comparison with Flower Genie and Ideas Genie, there will be a choice to the Bonsai enthusiast - a basic or an advanced system.
I hasten to add - if you are good with software and
appreciate VERY good software, then you’ll like Bonsai Genie in its current format, and it will certainly do the job for you, and much more.

You will have the opportunity to shape a software item to your exact requirements.
